Here is the way to do it (its not obvious at all!)
On GOG.com (GOG Galaxy wont work to find the serial keys) go to GOG.com, click on ACCOUNT. Then click on LIBRARY.
Now click the arrow below Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete - select DOWNLOADS
In Downloads, click on the MORE arrow button then select SERIAL KEYS.
Copy and Paste the serial keys into the Multiplayer Keys window. When you paste then, check the END of each CD-KEY for spaces and remove any empty spaces at the beginning or end - spaces will cause your BUTTONS TO BE DISABLED because it sees them as invalid serial keys (this is stupid in my opinion).
If all the cd-keys are valid, the buttons will be enabled. If any spaces are in ANY of the cd-keys or any of the cd-keys are invalid in any way the buttons will not be enabled.
FrickusRuckus: Fixed problem.
1) NWN 2 keys do not have hyphens in the ini file. NWN 1 does have hyphens.
2) change the permissions on the ini file found in program(X86)AtariDnDNWNCNeverwinter Nights II directory and edit, save that file with the new key.

Rhiyo: You will need to change your cd-key if you are playing multiplayer either on LAN or the internet.
Your multiplayer CD-Keys are stored in your owned games list, click on Neverwinter Nights 2, and they are listed under 'My serial number:'
To manually change your CD-Key, go to where your Neverwinter Nights 2 was installed and open 'nwncdkey.ini' it will looking something like this (Obviously I have changed the keys to 0's):
[CDKEY]
Key1=00000-00000-00000-00000-00000-00000-00000 //This is your base Neverwinter Nights 2 cd-key
Key2=00000-00000-00000-00000-00000-00000-00000 //Mask of the Betrayer key
Key3=00000-00000-00000-00000-00000-00000-00000 //Storm of Zehir key
Replace the keys here with the corresponding keys in your GOG owned games list.
I've yet to install the GOG version as I am waiting for the Mysteries of Westgate DLC to be fixed first, but I hear there is a program that you can enter your keys in to change them for you instead, this would probably in your install folder or under start menu under something like
I'm having this problem also, however this solution doesn't work because we are only provided with one CD Key.. If we enter it three times, we'll get an unauthorized CD key error when connecting to a server.

I request a new cd key but has anybody here had good experience with this?

GOG is aware of the issue, which is a database issue. Be patient on your ticket: it is the weekend, and there is only a skeleton staff, so don't expect a reply until next week.

Is there any way to purchase 2 copies on the same GOG account, or do I need to get a second GOG account in order to purchase a second copy for LAN play?

Only a single license can be redeemed per account. I.E. you do need a second account.

Neverwinter Nights seriesawkward D&D's position as the 'default' TRPG is. Like, it's very rules heavy and complex (1000 pages between the 3 core books), very focused on a specific kind of setting (psuedo-medieval, vancian magic with 8 schools, multiple planes, great wheeel cosmology, divine and arcane magic etc), a specific narrative arc (plucky nobodies go dungeon diving and murdering for treasure taking on more powerful and important foes until they become the heroes of legend) and game style (complex tactical combat oriented mechanics based around sportslike balanced encounters where you go until one team is dead interspersed with rules light RP sections).. it's not the system I would use for a hogwarts homebrew or mystery is what I'm saying. But lot of people seem to think 'an RPG takes forever to learn and is super complicated' so getting them to try OTHER games is harder when their first game is D&D, and because their assumptions about what an RPG is are shaped by D&D they develop a play-style that accommodates what D&D is. It's like having everyone start reading with Ulysses and then being like 'try another book? fuck you I still only barely know Ulysses'.
And that's not even the worst of it. I have seen so many games with mechanics and features that they would never have if they weren't created by people who started with D&D. 'STR/DEX/CON/WIS/INT/CHA' are not the 6 most applicable stats for most games (including D&D as evidence by the fact WIS doesn't actually refer to wisdom anymore) but they keep showing up. XP progression as an automatic side effect of playing for longer makes perfect sense in a game with a theme of 'growth' like D&D that's about constantly going out and using your specialized skills to defy death and take on bigger challenges, but in a mystery game where you're already a trained detective going from case to case, character progression isn't thematically relevant to anything you're doing and that sort of game should be challenging the player not the character. In most World of Darkness games, the themes and the mechanics are in aggressively stark contrast because the game didn't build up from 'tool to help tell stories about sad vampires', it built away from 'D&D + GURPs'. I fully believe different clans with different tiered superpowers and heavy combat mechanics wouldn't be a core of vampire if D&D didn't exist. Mage wouldn't be about leveling up your spheres through living your life and going on adventures, you would either be seeking out new ways to find enlightenment and knowledge or the story would be about suddenly just having this power and knowledge and telling stories of what you DO with it. There are obviously games where those 6 traits are useful and where XP style progression and combat/superpower focused rules have merits. but I don't feel they'd be as ubiquitous if D&D hadn't been first?

/connectify-hotspot-pro-with-serial-key-free-download.html. Basically, I feel like history has made D&D into the prototype of RPGs that gamers start with and that games are judged against and designed in relation to. despite the fact that it's actually a terrible candidate for that position. It's a highly specialized game that excels at a very specific kind of setting and story and it feels like so many people are banging nails into the wall with a screwdriver because they're marketed so much better than hammers and it's just.. frustrating?

Does anyone else have this issue with people trying to run 'D&D' when they clearly actually want something else? Or assuming all games are equally complicated to learn? Does anyone know a good way to either make people amenable to trying something new or have experience with D&D actually being super good for a huge range of things that can point out to me that I'm missing something?
